Riam Garam located on Seluas Disctric, Bengkayang Regency. There is something interesting about this waterfall. Why is it called Riam Garam? Because in the past there was a traveler lost in boneo forest then he found a large lump of salt. Then the chunks affect the surrounding water. After that, the traveler came back to the place feeling that there were no more lumps of salt and finally the water there returned to freshen. Mystical things also happened after residents heard the news.
The distance from the village requires five days armed with complete climbing tools. Not all villagers can reach there, me and the team are very grateful to be able to get that moment. Kalimantan forests are still in a state of beautiful, humid, cool and have a dense forest. There are so many wild animals here that you will find such as leechs, worms, millipedes, spiders, snakes and wild ants. Not only waterfalls in Bengkayang are easily accessible, but also you have to prepare enough physically to make the long journey.
