As we know in west borneo Geologically, the island of Borneo  doesn’t has volcano, so the hot spring comes from geothermal springs.Ai Sipatn Lotup's hot springs are unique because there are not many hot springs on the island of Borneo. As well as “Hantakan hot springs” in South borneo, Only hot water in East borneo, Hot water “seburuk” in West borneo and “Hot Spring Poring” in Sabah Malaysia.

Ai sipatn lotupis located in the kampung Peruntan, desa Sape, kecamatan   Balai Sebut, Sanggau Regency, West borneo.to go to “Sipatn Lotup”, it takes about 6 hours drive from Pontianak. There are two routes that can be taken from the city of Sanggau to this place, namely through the Sanggau - Kembayan - Jangkang route with a distance of approximately 168 km from the City Center of Sanggau Regency. While through the Sanggau - Mukok - Jangkang route it can be reached with a distance of approximately 70 Km. Transportation routes can be passed by Four-wheeled vehicles and two-wheeled vehicles. By traveling approximately 3 hours drive, the charm of the tourist area Hot springs can be enjoyed with natural freshness.
